Research

Our group is leading or collaborating in several low energy particle physics experiments at PSI and CERN. In particular, we are:

• In­vest­ig­at­ing novel meth­ods to cre­ate a high-qual­ity atomic beam of muonium, based on μ⁺→M con­ver­sion in su­per­fluid he­lium (SFHe) with the LEMING experiment at PSI.
  
• Testing lepton flavour universality with PIONEER, a newly approved, next-generation precision pion decay experiment at PSI.
• Researching the fundamental properties of antiprotons compared to protons with BASE at CERN.
