Welcome to the Fundamental Interactions Group!

Our group was founded in 2021, with the aim to carry out investigations beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. We study elementary particles and antimatter at low energies, while they are bound in exotic atomic structures, or decaying at rest. Tiny energy shifts in their interactions or an unusual decay mode can indicate physics beyond the Standard Model. We look for these subtle footprints of new physics by carrying out precision measurements on various particles from accelerators: muons and pions at PSI, and antiprotons at CERN.
